Positive Behaviour Support and Sensory Challenges
Join Autism Swim\'s Founder and Senior Behaviour Specialist Erika Gleeson (from Australia) who will be delivering a 4 hour session on Positive Behaviour Support and Sensory Challenges, both in and out of the water. The session is designed to lay some foundational information and give you some practical strategies to implement straight away. Parents, community members and professions are very welcome to attend. There will also be am opportunity for a Q&A session at the end. A little more about Erika: Erika Gleeson (GC. Autism Studies. BA. Behavioural Science and Communications) is the Founder and Clinical Director of Autism Swim (www.autismswim.com.au). Autism Swim is the only certification body in the world specific to autism and aquatics. Erika is also a Senior Behaviour Specialist for those with other autism and other abilities. Erika is a noted speaker at international conferences, and is a leading expert on wandering and drowning prevention for those who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and cognitive deficit.
