A Sunderland-based organisation is helping to deliver arts education and wellbeing programmes.
Set up six years ago, MBC Arts Wellbeing is located on Norfolk Street.
They have the idea of offering educational programmes to young an old – with an aim of improving life skills to take with them.
With monthly mentor meetings given to people who have studios with them.
Marc Burns Cassell is the director:
The artists that they have at the studios can also benefit from grants to help them succeed in an artistic career.
MBC Arts Wellbeing have worked with over 2,500 people across the city and beyond last year.
A scheme, which is launching soon, will see two local emerging talents join a programme worth thousands.
