Market Leader in Flexible Packaging
InterFlex Group are looking for an Internal Sales Co-Ordinator to join our existing Customer Service team of 5 at our Sunderland site. This role is a full time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Reporting in to the UK Customer Service Manager the primary role of the ISC is to provide the highest standard of services to all customers and to take ownership and responsibility for the efficient management of allocated accounts to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
·Customer Order Management
-Pro-actively manage customer orders, from receipt to completion
-Manage customer stocks through effective knowledge of internal systems, order patterns and sales forecasts, whilst ensuring on-going customer communication
-Managing delivery schedules and taking ownership for transportation costs on allocated accounts
-Preparing stock, production and demand forecasts on a regular basis
·Service Level/Managing Expectations
-Responding in a timely and accurate manner to customer requests, queries and general communication; actioning customer orders in a timely manner
-Negotiating order lead times with customers
-Liaising and communicating with the internal functions and stakeholders to ensure agreed customer targets are met
-Attend customer review meetings as and when required
-Active participation in Team Meetings and Continuous Improvement Projects
-Assisting other departments where appropriate and when requested
-Answering main switchboard calls
-Working closely with the UK Customer Services Manager to ensure individual and team targets are met
-To review and understand current CSC processes and drive automated/system improvements
-Providing cover and back-up to customer accounts during holiday periods
Who are we looking for?
·Previous role working in fast, moving dynamic environment
·Excellent computer literacy skills from regular use of Microsoft packages in particular Excel
·Experience of systems and/or process improvements (preferred)
·Excellent communication skills, with both internal and external stakeholders, providing them with up-to-date, accurate information. Key requirement to quickly build solid positive relationships with allocated customers
·A strong proactive attitude is required to ensure high service levels are maintained with customers.
·A high level of attention to detail during day to day activities to maintain accurate information which drives internal and external decision-making process
·Be able to demonstrate commercial awareness i.e. price lists / cost of product and develop a good understanding of business functions within the company
·Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
·Highly organised to deal with changing priorities day to day in line with a fast moving, customer driven environment
This role will also require occasional travel to both Customer sites and our other UK location in Dalkeith, Scotland.
