Jermain Defoe has revealed a touching tribute to his ‘best mate’.
The former Sunderland striker has got a tattoo bearing the nickname he gave to young fan Bradley Lowery, ‘Brads‘.
They struck up a memorable bond, on and off the pitch, whilst Defoe was on Wearside.
Now at Bournemouth, he says he will never forget Bradley, who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma – a rare cancer.
The six-year old died in July last year.
