Motorists are being advised to avoid using the A19 southbound following an earlier collision.
The road has now been closed between the A183 and the A690 junction.
It’s due to spilt diesel being removed from the carriageway.
Police are currently at the scene and are diverting traffic.
It’s estimated to reopen at 2:30pm:
